Sirkuit Two In One
OtomotifZone.com - Montesz Sport Club yang Di komandoi oleh M. Handoko Halim SH kembali bikin gebrakan di kota Banjarpatroman, Jawa Barat. Lewat event road race nya yang bertajuk Djarum Super Road Race 2006 pada 29-30 april 2006 lalu. “Kebetulan kita yang ketiga kalinya bikin event di Banjar dan kebetulan juga ini merupakan seri ke tiga tahun ini” buka Krisna Yudhistira selaku sekretaris harian Montesz.
Uniknya lintasan sepanjang 1,4 km yang terletak didepan terminal kota Banjar ini melingkar mengelilingi sirkuit motocross. “Sebagian sirkuit memang belum di hotmix, semisal saat keluar dari R1 sampai R4 aspal bisa dibilang rusak” jelas Soedrajat “Ajat” Ketua Korwil IMI Banjar.
Banyak pembalap pemula yang keteteran melintasi R1 sampai R4. Akibatnya banyak pula rider yang nyungseb. Makanya tak sedikit rider yang bergaya motocross, setiap di tikungan kaki wajib turun.
“Karena gak ada tempat lain yang lebih layak. Otomatis sirkuit dadakan harus disini” papar Teguh Senjaya komisi balap motor pengda IMI Jawa Barat.
Wah, berarti PR buat Korwil IMI Banjar dong… tapi bukan berarti warga Banjar harus berkecil hati. Buktinya Banjar mampu menelurkan pembalap yang mampu bersaing di gelaran bertaraf nasional. Contoh nyata, Wawan Hermawan yang sekarang digandeng IMB-Arinda Motor RT prestasinya menohok. Belum lagi bibit unggul setelah Wawan seperti Yudi Mergosari, Entang DM, Fendy Ces.
Bak gayung disambut, prestasi mereka langsung didukung kaum birokrat. “Saya akan memfasilitasi kegiatan otomotif disini” jelas Wali kota Banjar Dr. H. Herman Sutrisno saat ceremony di sirkuit. Bukan hanya sirkuit road race atau motocross saja. Namun sirkuit slalom pun rencanya akan dapat fasilitasnya juga. Wah kalau gitu berarti di Banjar Bukan sirkuit two in one lagi.
